Designed and built during the early months of the Oscdean arrival to Terra, the Udorous carrier serves as a multi-role flagship for the Vindictus Ove, and the personal command vessel of the Oscdean Grand Panturion.
Overview and Development
Led by the Unisah Corporation, OSCO Corporation, and later Hutarni Construct, the Udorous project fell under the name of "Project V", and was built by the Oscdean cell colony on Orcana. Designed by a team composed by Ponvaru Ined Monsl and Hureea Lac Denarsu, the Udorous was designed to fulfill a heavy exploration vessel for establishing colonies on habitable worlds, as the Oscdeans planned to move its largely established Orcana population to a more suitable planet.
However, in 3018, the project was temporarily halted with the discovery of Sol and the temperant planet Terra. As the Tauruan Orcana colonies began their migration to Terra on smaller vessels, the Udorous project was halted by the Vindictus Ove in order to focus and dedicate more resources to their operations on Terra.
It was not till the Writ of Faraum Gefari and the disappearance of Obveron Uniath that prompted the Oscdeans to resume the project. By then, the Oscdeans has advanced significantly and many major overhauls were made to the Udorous to adapt to modern standards, extending its development.
Many features of the Udorous include key features from Oscdean battleships and cruisers, along with experimental technology incorporated within the ship after the discovery of Uterna.
As of 3020, the Grand Panturion Nylis Tuus Moradeshi commands the Udorous.
