The USS Enterprise (NCC-1701-B), sometimes referred to as the Enterprise-B, was a United Federation of Planets Excelsior class exploration cruiser in service to Starfleet in the last 23rd century. The Enterprise-B was the Federation's flagship for its 5 years of service. She was launched in 2293 under the command of Captain John Harriman. Harriman commanded her for her entire tenure until she was lost, and presumed destroyed, in 2298.
