The first of the Vertun Class was the result of a failed battlecruiser prototype. After the intervention of Yutika Indares, the ship project was lead by his team.
 
With modifications to the front hull, and using some deisgn elements of the Octavia Class Cruisers, the overall design of the ship resulted in a sleek and spacious hull that allowed two main hanger bays and 3 secondary cabin bays.
