The Dalkaisk peoples originated in southern and central Reicala, located on the Tauran planet. It is part of the Bullseyan Ethnolinguistic Branch of Tauran peoples. Dalkaisk derived from the Reicalan peoples, diverging from the Carthyans and later Avenians. Migration of Bullseyan peoples west into Reicala led future Dalkaisk to inhabit the forests and plains of the region, while future Carthyans inhabited the mountains and valleys.
