The [[Oscdean States]], [[Dalkai]], [[Dark Angels]], and various space faring Tauran nations evacuates [[Taurus]] in an attempt to escape an artificial cataclysmic event known as the [[one-third nova]], which destroyed the planet over the course of a month. An estimated 31% of planets population managed to get off world via starships.

While the [[SMG Phoenix]] was sent out to hunt the Oscdean ships, [[Dalkai]], [[Scion]], and [[Elysia]] uses this window of opportunity to escape Taurus.
During the evacuation, the Sovokian empire, who initiated the weapon, rallied its remaining forces and fleet, including the  [[SMG Phoenix]] to embark on a final mission in attempt to bring down retreating survivors in their suicidal destruction. They were sent out to hunt any non affiliated starships and premature asteroid colonies.

Battle of the Blue Sun, also known as the Second Wave of Escape, was a brief conflict lead by a coalition of voluntary Tauran ships in attempt to stall the Sovokian hunt. The outcome of the battle allowed a second wave of flagships and makeshift colony ships to escape.

Numerous meetings were held with the established colonies in Orcana. The conclusion was to set a journey towards Terra, since it may prove more habitable since there's life originating there.

The Great Migration, known by the many people of Taurus as the "Abivantas Formula"(The Path Home), "Unajalsk Tsi Zjelia"(The Great Journey), "伟大的移民"(The Mass Migrational Journey), and Freeworlders fallacy; was a period of time from 2989-3018 where the Nation's of Taurus escaped their homeworld in an attempt to find peace and freedom while escaping from their corrupted world.
