Dark Angels Army

The Dark Angels Army is the primary land-based military branch of the Dark Angels, responsible for all planetary surface operations. From its early formations, the Dark Angels Army underwent rapid expansion, developing into a formidable fighting force characterized by highly trained soldiers, powerful armored vehicles, mechanized walkers, and deadly droids.

The Dark Angels Army operates in close coordination with the other branches of the Dark Angels military. It relies heavily on the Dark Angels Navy for the support of interplanetary troop transport, with the Navy's vast fleets ferrying entire legions across star systems to planetary destinations. Once on a planet's surface, the Army integrates with the Dark Angels Air Force, utilizing their aircraft for rapid troop deployment and aerial support in ground engagements.

• General—The highest rank a soldier could attain. They are in command of a corps.
• Legion Commander—They are in command of a legion.
• Regimental Commander—They are in command of a regiment.
• Battalion Commander—They are in command of a battalion.
• Major—They are in command of a company.
• Lieutenant—They are in command of a platoon.
• Sergeant—They are in command of a squad.
• Corporal—The second lowest rank of Angelian forces. They are second-in-command of squads.
• Trooper—The building block of the Dark Angels Army. There are different types of troops, but the most common one are the Fire Warriors.
• Cadet—This rank refers to troopers in-training. These have not passed their final test and therefore can not yet be considered official soldiers.
