The Monarchy of Estyn was established 1477 years ago in 102 AC following the Conquest of Estyn by King Arthur the Consolidator. The Conquest united five of the six Kingdoms under House Francisco, with The Kingdom of the Rock being conquered in 211 by King Maegor II.

Since conquest, the crown has sat on the heads of 60* Kings and Queens. A list can be found here. Today the crown sits on the head of King Daeron I of House Osborn-Brooks. King Daeron I's ancestry can be definitively linked back to King Robert Baratheon I, who, during Robert's Rebellion of 981, took the crown from the fragile King Andrew II Martell. House Martell had strong ancestral links to Arthur the Consolidator, but it is believed by many that Daeron's blood goes that far back too as King Robert's great grandfather married into the House Calais (the direct successors of the Francisco), he then remarried, but during his first marriage he had 3 sons. Those sons are believed to be the ancestors of ALL modern day Kings, with the exception of Argon I and Francis II
The current House in power is House Osborn-Brooks. House Osborn-Brooks was founded by King Aerys II in order to end the War of the Clans where Houses Gregory (led by Aerys II) and Plantagenet (led by Henry VI). The War of the Clans was started in 1305 when King Argon began his invasion of Estyn. Argon was the Hand of the King to King Maegor V in Pentos (due to the settlements act of 1244 Estapor and Pentos both had their own Privy Councils and Hand of the King's), but when Maegor V's son, Aerys, took the throne he denied Estapor and Pentos free and fair elections. This led to the two cities uniting under 'The Kingdom of the East' and declared their independence once again, under the now King Argon. Argon believed that the only way to secure victory was to attack mainland Estyn, and so did. He gathered an army of the easterners on 200 ships. The invasion was swift, and King's Landing fell within four weeks. Aerys was killed, and later the famous letter to Aerys from Argon was discovered stating:
"My Lord Aerys, I am Argon I Bourdough, first of my name, Rightful King of the Esters and Drowned Men, King of the East and Pentos, Lord of the Several Kingdoms, Protector of the Realms of Men and Defender of the Faith. As your King, I am ordering you to leave my city (King's Landing) at haste and I will continue to allow you to take the Lordship over Gulltown and Warden of the Falklands. Bend the knee and I will grant you mercy. If you refuse, you will die.
AIR (Pentos signage meaning Argon I Rex, Rex being Latin for King)"
