Dr. '''Zefram Cochrane '''was a terran scientist who lived in the 21st century and was a pivotal figure in human history because of his discovery and invention of Warp Drive, which allowed humans to travel faster than light. Furthermore, Cochrane was present during First Contact with Vulcan and is believed to be the catalyst for the first interaction between the species.

== Early Life ==
Cochrane was born on April 23, 2019 in Montana, North America. Cochrane was an intelligent child and was accepted into the California Institute of Technology in 2035. He graduated in 2039 and went to work in NASA. However, this did not last long however, as in 2041 he was concripted into the United States Military Research and Development programme during the Third World War.
