It also aims to trade with other factions outside of Wapton in an attempt to grow past it's ancient glory days. nope.co currently runs a small head office in Wapton, but aims to quickly expand by pouring most of it's resources into the city. It wishes to open up manufacturing plants for it's classical technology nopePhones and nopeBooks, as well as new technology currently under development. In the agreement with Wapton's government, it also agreed to invest in education and research facilities that will be shared between the company and the city-state. 			Wapton has a rich and diverse culture, mostly made up of the entertainment and music industries. Wapton hosts many annual festivals and celebrations, both religious and cultural (there is however a large overlap between the two), that mainly celebrate the music of Wapton. Waptons music industry consists both of the holy music of Wapolicism with many early 2000s singers, as well as modern music created by Waptonians. Waptonian music is often similiar to the early 2000s pop music scene, but it also has elements of electronic music, hyperpop, electropop and rave music. The entertainment industry is also thriving, with many competitions mostly centered around music. Despite its small size, the city boasts a large array of sitcoms, drama series, reality series, podcasts and talk shows. Few attempts have been made to spread the culture of Wapton into the rest of the Doggerlands, but it is uncertain if it'd be successful as most of Waptonian culture is based on that of the early 2000s culture.

			The Waptonians, having lived in poorly maintained bunkers for generations, had not heard music like this before, and were instantly taken aback by the music. The device was thoroughly examined, and contained songs by Cardi B, Meghan Thee Stallion, Nicki Minaj, Ariana Grande and many more. The corpse was also examined, but the only remains apart from the skeleton was a pure gold necklace that said “Nicki Minaj”. It is therefore believed that the corpse was Nicki Minaj (despite later research showing that the skeleton was male, but most Wapolicists argue that she simply changed gender), and that she is the god chosen savior of the Waptonians.

			Lacking knowledge and technology, and believing the area they found was a holy land, Waptonians began reconstructing the ruins of the old city they had found. They named the city Waptown (later shortened Wapton, because “it has a better rhyme, yo”), in honor of the holy song WAP.
