In a weeks time, she was put together (despite much of the hull taking a month to construct) she was fully assembled starting on April 19 in the drydock at Eddington Base directly following the launch of ''Cassin Young'', ''Kitty Hawk''<nowiki/>'s sister ship.

			Her construction was, for the most part, flawless and without interruption.
