	The government of Wiltshire, formally the federal government of Wiltshire, is the national government of [[Wiltshire]], a federal parliamentary democracy located in the south-east of the Doggerlands, composed of four states and a federal district.		[[Category:Politics]]

	The federal government is based around the democratically elected [[Wiltshire National Assembly]], which elects the [[Prime Minister of Wiltshire]] - the chief executive - who forms the rest of the federal government. The Prime Minister appoints members of the cabinet, who execute actions in the different federal ministries. Federal cabinet ministers are responsible to both the Prime Minister and the National Assembly. The Prime Minister directs the federal government, including the legislative priorities of the National Assembly, due to the constitutional obligation of the Prime Minister to command a majority of seats in the Assembly. Hence, the Prime Minister also appoints the [[Leader of the National Assembly (Wiltshire)\|Leader of the National Assembly]]. The position of [[Speaker of the Wiltshire National Assembly\|Speaker]] is separate and is elected directly by the legislature.
