Claire Statura is the Arbitress of the Dark Angels, wielding supreme authority over the entire dominion. She leads the Dark Angels war council on the D.A. flagship, Tyrant, and concerns herself with managing the entire Dark Angels navy and military and any threats to Angelian safety.
Early Life
Statura was born around the time of the Great Journey from Taurus. As a girl, she displayed extraordinary knowledge of communicated tactics and strategies used by the Dark Angels. Statura admired the combat prowess and dedication of Dark Angel troopers, who had been trained from youth as soldiers and warriors. Following the Tauran migration to Terra, Statura continued serving the Dark Angels Navy and was eventually transferred to the Captain's Academy at D.A. HQ. She quickly rose in the ranks and became captain of the Resilient-class ship, Whirlpool. After running many successful missions and catching the previous Arbiter's interest, she was finally appointed the rank of admiral.
Along with being an admiral, she was also the general in charge of training naval pilots for the navy. Her previously assigned personal ship was the Leviathan-class dreadnought, Devastator. She oversaw the secret construction of the Tyrant during her time stationed at one of Saturn's moons, Titan.
As a result of the Arbiter's death from the first failed-invasion of Krotus, Statura was crowned as the succeeding Arbiter by the rest of the Dark Angels leadership due to her military expertise and friendly relations with her people.
Personality
A surprise to many, Statura is actually a very compassionate person. Unlike the previous Arbiter who had always hid in the shadows, she is more outgoing and open to communication. She is very approachable and does not view herself superior to others. She hates attending board and war council meetings as they are very lackluster to her and much prefers live combat experience. She sometimes takes on a sassy attitude, but is usually respectively outspoken. She takes great interest in training young ones in their journey to become part of the D.A. Navy.
